Our Senior Talent Entry Programme
Alongside the business transformation, we’re working hard to deliver the very best opportunities for our workforce too. And STEP continues this.
We are looking to attract 20 talented senior managers from outside of Royal Mail into STEP, which starts in October 2010.
Our aim is to develop you to become an integral player in the top leadership population of the future – providing you with the skills, experiences and perspectives to ensure our long-term success.
The programme lasts for 18 months, during which time, you’ll undertake two or three six-month assignments, with the final assignment potentially having line management responsibility. Those selected will work in the Commercial, Operations and/or Logistics functions at the heart of our transformation.
The assignments can be very diverse, allowing you to gain varied experience and a wide perspective. They offer everything from operational leadership to strategic change-management experiences. Visit Our Assignments to find out more.
We’re based all over the UK, so you may need to travel and will need to be happy working from different locations throughout your assignments.
You will begin your time on the STEP programme with a three day induction at Coton House Management Centre, our training centre in Rugby. This will introduce you to the organisation and give you just the start you need for your career with us. It’s also a chance for you to meet some of our senior managers and network with you peers.
